The shooting will begin in Gothenburg in July in a Hungarian-Romanian-Swedish coproduction, Judit Elek told MTI by phone from Cannes. The film, carrying the working title "Returning Home", tells the story of a Transylvanian ethnic Hungarian woman living in Sweden, who returns for a short visit during the communist regime to her homeland, from where she had to flee as a Jew during the Holocaust, the director said.

The filming will continue in Transylvania until October, she said, adding that the title was expected to be released next spring.

The Council of Europe's film fund Eurimages has granted 220,000 euros to part-fund the film.
