Hungarian films win awards at Bucharest festival

The new title The Counterpart by young director Laszlo Nemes Jeles was selected best short film ahead of 29 other competitors to receive the DaKino Trophy. It is about two friends meeting after a long break during WWI.

 
Meanwhile, a documentary won the jury's award. The Lost World by Gyula Nemes is about the demolition and reconstruction of the Kopaszi dam in southern Budapest and the people living in wooden houseboats there.
