Hungarian Films Win at Italian Festival

Ergo was awarded the prize for best original film score. The score for the film was written by Attila Pacsay, who has long cooperated with Tóth. Ergo premiered in Cannes in 2008.

Midnight

Midnight was Kárpáti?s received the prize for best student film award in Asolo. In the assessment, the jury said the filmmaker ?showed the process of reaching adulthood with great sensitivity?. They also acknowledged the talents of the short?s two leads: Zsolt Dér and Mária Kőszegi.

 
Both films were made with the support of the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation.
 
More than 70 films were on the programme of the 29th Asolo Art Film Festival.
