The show, called Graphics Open 2012, opens on Thursday. It features work from students in Krakow, Bratislava, Zagreb and Vienna, as well as Budapest, said Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts rector Frigyes Kőnig.
He said the academies, with the exception of the one in Vienna, had cooperated for years, but had never organised such a large, joint exhibition of their students.
He added that the show allows students and teachers alike a chance to see trends, and it supports students? mobility.
The show contains 100-120 works by the students, said Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts graphic arts faculty head Tibor Somorjai Kiss. He added that show was part of the school?s celebration of its 140th anniversary.
It is hoped a catalogue of the show can be published later.
