Hungarian House Opens in Austria

Society chairperson Zsófia Homolya said the organisation aims to foster links between Hungarians and Austrians living in and around Salzburg. About 1,000 Hungarians are registered as residents in the area, and about half of them are Austrian citizens, she added.

 
The Hungarian House will be inaugurated during a three-day event that seeks to establish business and cultural ties. The society will hold its general assembly on Thursday and a business forum will take place on Friday.
 
The Viennese Hungarian Cultural Society?s Délibáb Folk Dance Ensemble will perform on Saturday.
 
The Hungarian House will host an exhibition of Austrian and Hungarian artists.
