From Hungary came Sunshine, an ensemble established by Anna Sugár, who herself has hearing loss, and Andrea Csillag, who is physically disabled. Belgian's Flying Butterfly Society, which performs literary works in sign language, was also on the programme.
The Hungarian Cultural Institute in Brussels regularly offers cultural activities for people with disabilities. It is currently working together with Belgium and the Netherlands on a three-year series of events by performers with Down syndrome. The programme will culminate in a finale in the Hungarian city of Pécs in 2010.
