In addition to the opening of the Vasarely Gallery and the Kertész Salon, the institute has expanded its library with several hundred volumes and revamped its home page, which drew 40,000 visitors last year.

To celebrate its successful year, the institute has teamed up with its sister institute in Brussels as well as the organisers of the Sziget Festival, a week-long musical extravaganza on an island in the Danube, to bring the Hungarian hip-hop sensation Bëlga to perform in Paris. The band will play on December 15 and 16.
