The Hungarian shorts on the programme include Márton Szirmai's film Tripe and Onion, Martin Szecsanov's Stolen Rhythm, Barnabás Tóth's On a Train, Tomek Ducki's Lifeline and Katalin Riedl's Fairies. The films will be shown together with shorts from France, Germany, Norway, Estonia, Sweden and Slovenia.
The Hungarian Institute in Paris will also show Spanish director Borja Cobeaga's Oscar-nominated 2007 film Eramos Pocos.
EuShorts is an introductory project for a joint effort of the countries along the River Danube. From the end of this year, the institute will show films from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Austria.
In a separate project, the institute will organise a regular forum to promote contacts between filmmakers and producers.
