The award was presented at a ceremony in Vilnius on Saturday evening. It is the first time a Hungarian product has been acknowledged at the awards, which were established in 2007.
MuzeumCafe is published by Budapest's Museum of Fine Arts. It has a print run of more than 2,000 copies which are distributed free of charge to the country's museum and exhibition space professionals. The publication is also available for purchase by the general public in museum shops and bigger bookstores.
MuzeumCafe took the top place at Hungary's Pro Typographia awards in 2009. In the same year, it was named Magazine of the Year in the MAGMA contest.
