Balázs was awarded the top prize, which came with a purse of EUR 10,000, as well as the special prize for interpretation of contemporary music, which carried a purse of EUR 5,000, and the audience award, which gave him EUR 2,000.
Mácsai took third place overall and took home a EUR 6,000 prize.
The contest took place on September 26-30.
