Pannonian Desert competed with 86 films from 23 countries at the festival.

The festival's main prize went to Eco-Crimes: The Tibet Connection, a German film about tiger poachers in India.

Ekotopfilm is a unique platform for bringing technicians and ecologists together. It educates both professionals and the general public, it brings people up to date on the area of sustainable development, it promotes discussion, and it entertains, the festival's organisers say.
