Balatoni performed at the Felicja Blumental Music Centre - named in honour of the Polish-born pianist famous for her Chopin interpretations - in Tel Aviv. The city hosts a festival named after her each May.
In Jerusalem, Balatoni played at the Austrian Hospice of the Holy Family on the Via Dolorosa.
