The 26th World Congress of Poets, an event organised under the aegis of the World Academy of Arts and Culture and UNESCO was held in Mongolia on September 4-10.
On the 800th anniversary of the founding of the Mongolian state, Ulaanbaatar hosted the congress, which was attended by 200 literary personalities from 50 countries.
Hungary was represented at the World Congress of Poets for the first time.
