About 30 poets from all around the world will participate at the festival which is being held for the seventh time. They will read their works in their own language, and well known Slovakian actors will recite translations of the poems. An anthology of the participants' works is published each year.
This year's festival is expected to draw about 2,000 people. In addition to readings, film screenings, workshops and roundtable talks are on the festival programme.
Gerevich and Kiss will have readings at the A4 cultural centre in Bratislava on October 8 and 10, respectively. The two poets were selected by the festival organisers with the help of the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Bratislava.
