The Hungarian National Gallery presented the exhibition as well as an accompanying show entitled Thirty Years in Pictures which also drew many visitors, said the event?s communication director Ágnes László.
More than one-third of the visitors were students.
Due to the big demand, the exhibition was extended by two weeks and closed on May 20.
The 30th Press Photo Exhibition and Thirty Years in Pictures will go on display at the Kölcsey Community Centre in Debrecen between June 26 and July 12.
