Hungarian Project Wins Prize at London Festival of Architecture

The project, called Anatomy of a Street was awarded a ?Silver Pigeon? ? which refers to the pigeons of Trafalgar Square ? by the British Council and the Architecture Foundation.

 
The project involved ten Hungarian architects, designers, photographers and performers. Its curators were Eszter Steierhoffer and Levente Polyák. The project enjoyed the support of the Hungarian Cultural Centre London and the Pécs2010 European Capital of Culture programme.
 
The project will be written up with the first prize- and second prize-winners in professional journal Architecture Review.
 
The jury for the prize included Tom Dyckhoff, architecture reviewer at The Times, Sarah Ichioka, director of the British Architecture Foundation, and Catherine Ince, curator at Barbican Art Gallery.
