The concerts span Richter's first concert in Hungary at the Liszt Academy of Music in 1954 to his last in 1993.
Regular listeners to Magyar Radio's classical channel have had the pleasure of listening to these rare recordings from the radio's archives. Now a wider audience will have access to them for posterity.
The transfers to CD was a project which lasted for 18 months, Magyar Radio's chairman Gyorgy Such told a news conference.
The album comes with liner notes written by the distinguished pianist Dezso Ranki.
