Finale, directed by Balázs Simonyi and starring Ferenc Elek and Lehel Kovács, won the audience prize at the 9th Asian International Short Film Festival in Seoul on November 2-7.
Simonyi, a photographer and newspaper editor, accepted the award in person.
Virág Zomborácz?s film Something Blue (Valami kék) took the Radio Romania Cultural Prize at the 19th Alter-Native film festival in the Romanian city of Targu Mures, while Cecília Felméri?s animated documentary Matthias, Matthias (Mátyás, Mátyás) took the prize awarded by the city of Targu Mures. The two films were among 53 from 23 countries competing at the festival.
