The conference provided a forum for the exchange of experience and ideas. The teachers were also informed of the Culture Ministry's future plans.
The Year of the Hungarian Language and the Radnóti Anniversary were highlighted in lectures at the conference. Seminars were held on teaching tools for Hungarian as a second language as well as e-learning.
