Hungarian films will also be shown in the festival's East of the West competition -- Róbert Lakatos's Bahrtalo! and Gábor Dettre's Tableaux - as well as in the documentary competition - Gyula Nemes's Disappeared World, which shows the forced eviction of squatters in a run-down part of Budapest up for rehabilitation.
The festival's 2008: A Musical Odyssey selection will screen the Hungarian films The Guest of Life - Csoma Legendarium, by director Tibor Szemző, and Béla Tarr's latest film The Man from London will be screened in the Horizons selection. Kornél Mundruczó's Delta will be screened in the Open Eyes selection
