Csáli beat a Korean and a Japanese guitarist in the finals.

 
Csáki, who has received several foreign prizes, including ones in Chile and Japan, is in the final year of doctorate studies at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He has taught guitar for several years at the Bartók Conservatory, and from this year he will also teach part-time at the Liszt Academy of Music.
 
Csáki started playing the guitar at age 11 under László Kozma at the Ádám Jenő Music School in Budapest's District IX. He continued his studies at the Bartók Conservatory under Sándor Szilvágyi. After graduating, he studied for two years in Győr under Ede Roth and Balázs Arnóth.
 
He successfully applied to the classical guitar teacher department at the Budapest Academy of Music and received his diploma with honours in 2007. He enrolled in the Liszt Music Academy's doctorate programme in 2007 and won an Annie Fischer scholarship in 2008.
