Kornis will offer an analysis of Kádár's last speech, delivered on April 12, 1989, and comment on the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and the period that followed.
The actress Andrea Bárdos will read excerpts from the book, which was published by Kalligram in 2006.
Kornis has published eleven books, including the novel Sunbook and the volume of essays Before the Plague. His plays have been performed at the National Theatre, the Játékszín and the Katona József Theatre. His Hungarian Round (adapted from Arthur Schnitzler's La Ronde) was performed by the Vígszínház troupe in Vienna's Burgtheater in 1989. Several of his works have been published in English and German.
