Hungarian Writer to Receive Romanian Culture Prize

Esterházy will be acknowledged for his literary presentation of problems in Central and Eastern Europe, said his Romanian translator Anamaria Pop. The prize will be presented at the Bucharest Book Festival in early June, she added.

 
Eight of the Kossuth Prize-winning author?s works have been published in Romanian, including Helping Verbs of the Heart, She Loves Me, A Little Hungarian Pornography, Celestial Harmonies, Revised Edition and The Book of Hrabal
