Songs that were neither published nor performed live before September 1, 2011 may be submitted for consideration.
Sixteen songs will be shortlisted to represent Hungary in the contest. Public television will broadcast the best of the entries.
The Hungarian in this year?s contest, Kati Wolf, took 22nd place with a number entitled What About My Dreams.
