Hungary's Fine Arts and Vienna museums put on show in Tokyo

Laszlo Baan, speaking to MTI by phone from Tokyo, said that the display showcases the finest pieces from the two museums' collections, including works by Raphael the Younger, Tintoretto, Durer, Cranach, Van Dyck, Greco and Velazquez.

   
The paintings, sculptures and arts and crafts works are on display in Tokyo's National Art Centre until December 14 and will be shown at Kyoto's National Museum from January 5 to March 14.
   
Baan said half a million visitors are expected at the exhibition, making the joint show the world's third-most visited this season.
