Zsolnay porcelain will be on display at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Mamac), young Hungarian designers will show their works in the famous glass tower of Espace Wallonie and the streets leading to the tower will be decorated with flags by Hungarian textile designers.
More than 120 objects spanning a period of 75 years will be on display from the Zsolnay porcelain factory of Pécs.
The Studio of Young Hungarian Industrial Designers is showing works by its members in an exhibition organised with the assistance of the Hungarian Cultural Institute Brussels. Among the objects on display are "spidrons", works of art as well as studies in spatial geometry by the designer Dániel Erdély.
The biennale is dedicated to the innovative spirit of the avant-garde architect-designer Gustave Serrurier-Bovy, who was born in Liege 150 years ago.
