Hungary's "Harley" Gets Own Museum

Szakács is putting on display 23 of his Pannónias in a cellar space in the city of Balassagyarmat in northern Hungary. The Pannónia museum opens March 15, Hungary's national holiday.

In addition to the motorcycles, the museum will also show old helmets, gloves, sidecars and trailers.

Szakács says he started the collection as an engineering student 13 years ago. Then it was easy to find discarded Pannónias in garages. Now they can only be had at vintage bike sales and through advertisements.

Szakács hopes to add another ten of his cycles to the collection after they are restored.
