The series will begin with the National Philharmonic Orchestra giving a concert under the baton of Zoltan Kocsis. President Pal Schmitt will attend the event as a guest of honour.
The orchestra will perform mainly Liszt and Bartok works, Kocsis said. He appreciated the achievements of both composers, noting that the world is celebrating the birth bicentenary of Franz Liszt this year.
