(MTI) - Geza Szocs, who is on a visit in China since Thursday, said that under an agreement with Beijing's Fine Arts Museum signed on Monday, a month-long exhibition featuring around one hundred works by 30 contemporary Hungarian artists was planned to be organised in the Chinese capital in June.

An exhibition featuring Chinese contemporary art is planned in Budapest next year, he said.

He said on Tuesday he would discuss plans in Shanghai on two films to be made in Hungarian-Chinese co-production. The storylines of both films are connected to the first half of the 20th century. One is planned to feature Hungarian architect Laszlo Hudec, who designed several notable buildings while he worked in Shanghai in 1918-1945.
