Hungary to Host International Harpsichord Festival

English

The programme, to be hosted by the cities of Budapest, Fehérvárcsurgó, Szentendre and Győr, will feature concerts, master classes, workshops, lectures and a "harpsichord marathon" to take place on the Night of the Museums.

The festival is being organised by the Liszt Music Academy, the Hungarian National Museum, the Clavicembalo Foundation, the Károlyi József Foundation and the Vujicsics Tihamér Music School. Liszt Music Academy rector András Batta is the festival's patron.

It is hoped the festival will become a regular event.
