Hungary Travelogue on Show in London

English

The Stokes - whose works hang in London's Tate Gallery as well as museums in Canada, France, Germany, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand - created the works during five visits to Hungary between 1905 and 1909. Many of the paintings were published in a travel guide Adrian Stokes wrote.

The curator of the exhibition, which runs until January 20, is Magdalen Evans, the Stokes' great-great niece.
