The exhibition features winning photographs from a competition organised by the European Central Bank (ECB).
In 2004 the ECB launched an annual photography competition for images from the focus country of its Cultural Days. In 2005, Hungary was the focus country for the Cultural Days of the ECB, and prizes were awarded to a number of Hungarian photographers for their outstanding submissions. The competition?s finalists, whose works can be seen at the new exhibition, include Tamás Dezső, Tivadar Domaniczky, Krisztina Erdei, Balázs Gárdi, Tamás Sándor Kovács, Dániel Németh, Hajnal Németh, Péter Puklus, Lilla Szász and Balázs Turay.
The exhibition can be seen from April 12 to May 3 at the Hungarian Embassy in Berlin, 76 Unter den Linden.
The exhibition?s sponsors are the ECB, the Central Bank of Hungary, the Embassy of the Hungarian Republic and the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin.
