This book contains tales that were told during the previous seven years? masses for children in Budapest in the Temple of the Monasticism of St. Francis. These sermons were to meant to make biblical extracts read during the Sunday Masses digestible and accessible for children.

The author, who is a former monastic of the Order of St. Francis, was a pastor for fifteen years. Being inspired by the apologues of Jesus Christ, he soon noticed that it is easier for children to understand parables in the literary sheathe of tales.

Here the characters are not purely good and evil, their actions and behaviour give a broad sight to the diversity of life to the reader.

Due to their special tie to the Bible and their literary value, these tales are indispensable in

contemporary religious education, and also essential for those seeking a high-standard art experience.
