Panka was born in Kaposvar, Hungary, on New Year?s Eve, 1977. Received her GCSE at Zichy Mihály Secondary School of Applied Arts in her home city. She graduated from the Faculty of Visual Communications, Animation Section of the Hungarian University of Craft and Design in 2003. In addition to cell, stop-motion, puppet and digital animation, her main field of interest lies in the graphic arts. Having designed several book covers lately, her activity in illustration is extremely diverse: she is interested in doing all kinds of work where her drawing skills can be utilized. She creates illustrations upon several monthly magazines?s request such as ?Fitt Pregnancy?, ?Shape? and ?Reader?s Digest? or, on the children?s side, ?Minimax Magazin? or ?Zig Zag?. In the latter ones she draws monthly features. These comics are ?Mimi & Theo? and ?Zalka & Elvis?. She also illustrates children?s books of her own and of other writers (e. g. Judit Berg ? What a Weather; Pozsonyi Pagony, 2006). Corresponding to the challenges of our time, she has gained experience in a number of design related fields: from desktop publishing through web-design to image building related tasks.
