?About Child?s Books ? drawing skill should follow the written text. The artist?s style should not dominate but adapt! Of course it doesn?t matter if the style is not unique, typical to us the uniformity of all our illustrations should however be avoided. Colours, forms, rhythms give experience. Illustration should not put the message into the readers? mouth but encourage them to develop further thoughts. Forming and not tbe mere serving of general taste is the goal!?
