Israeli Troupe Ends Season With Hungarian Play

English

György Spiró

Though the troupe performs mainly contemporary European plays, Prah is the first Hungarian play in their repertoire.

Spiró will attend the performance and will speak with Kria Risona Projekt head Yoni Ittel following the show.

Prah, a story about a poor couple who win the lottery and, confounded by their luck, place their winnings in a cocoa tin until they can decide what to do with them, premiered at the Radnóti Miklós Theatre in Budapest in April 2007. The play has since been performed in several other cities around Hungary as well as one in Romania. It is currently being staged in Krakow and it is being translated into Romanian.
