Jack Jack comprises Tamás Mester, whose band Mester és tanítványai was one of Hungary's most popular in the early 90s and whose solo career kicked off after nearly a decade abroad; Ganxsta Zolee, the front man of The Kartel and the drummer for KGB; Szabi Papp, the front man for Supernem; and Tibi Tóth, the songwriter and guitarist for Hooligans.
Jack Jack's members will not arrive alone on January 18, but will bring the members of their own bands too, creating an unforgettable event that will also be filmed for posterity and incorporated into the feature Jack and Roll, to open in cinemas around the country in the spring.
Jack Jack was born after Mester and Ganxsta Zolee started jamming at a party at the 2007 Sziget Festival. Ganxsta Zolee proposed forming a band, and the two invited Papp and Tóth to join. The band was dubbed Jack Jack after its first gig at the Fészek Club late September.
Jack Jack is currently working on an English language album at a house in the countryside.
