Egri won the prize for his song Little Johnny. Alyse Black took first prize for Stood For Stand For.
Egri's song will be placed on the Annual Billboard Song Contest Winners' CD, which is distributed to music industry professionals.
News of the award comes just one week after Egri was named a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for his song Memories of Istanbul.
