Kassák Exhibitions Draw More Than 45,000 in Berlin

English

The two exhibitions showcased Kassák?s oeuvre from two aspects. The Berlin Gallery?s ?Lajos Kassák ? Ambassador of the Avant-garde? showed Kassák works never before seen by the public together with pieces by his contemporaries.
The Collegium Hungaricum presented an interactive multimedia exhibition entitled ?Manifest: Kassák!? which took visitors through the artist?s life work.

The Berlin Gallery only shows artists who have a direct link with German capital, and Kassák maintained many connections with the Berlin literary and art community even before he visited the city in 1922.
