The show will be one of 30 on KISS's European tour, Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom, which will follow the sold-out North American tour.
The North American Kiss Alive tour has received very favourable reviews for its 35 dates, the show's organisers said. Metal Hammer defined it simply as the "kings' return" and MOJO said "the KISS show is just as exciting and bombastic as in the early days."
The European tour will be different from the American tour.
"New stage, new programme, new equipment and new album. We will present on stage the entire story of the band," said guitarist and singer Paul Stanley.
Tickets for the Budapest show will go on sale on Wednesday.
