Participants in the project should submit information about their planned performances to KLASSZ by October 1, 2010. A website will be set up for the project containing information on all of the participants and concerts.

"We welcome Hungarians' participation in the events in several parts of the world. For instance in Bayreuth Ádám Fischer will conduct the orchestra and choir of the Music Academy. Vienna, Raiding (Liszt's birthplace) and Paris will also certainly join the initiative," KLASSZ office head Orsolya Erdődy said.

Asked why the office had selected Christus instead of Liszt's other oratorio, Saint Elisabeth of Hungary, Erdődy said that Christus belonged in the category of grand oratorios like Handel's Messiah or Haydn's Creation.
