To mark the band?s anniversary, Kontroll Csoport?s only studio album, ?One Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Three?, will be re-released on CD with a special insert of never-before-seen archive photos with the help of the A38 Hajó, one of Budapest?s most exciting concert venues.
Kontroll Csoport?s first gig was on New Year?s Eve 1980. The band?s founding members were Csaba Hajnóczy, Laci Kistamás, Ági Bárdos Deák, Árpád Hajnóczy and Norbi Iványi, who later died tragically. The band expanded to include bass player Zoltán Farkas, drummer Karcsi Lehoczki, woodwind player János Ujvári and Péter Müller (before he became Müller Péter Sziámi).
