Kontroll (2003) won the prize for Best First Film at the 35th Hungarian Film Week in 2004. In the same year, Antal was named a rising young talent at Cannes.
Other films to be screened at the Taiwan European Film Festival are the comedy Fontána pre Zuzanu by Dusan Rapos (Czech Republic, 1985), Rec, a horror film by Paco Plaza and Jaume Balagueró (Spain, 2007), Let's Go to the Movies Tomorrow, a romance film by Michal Kwiecinski (Poland, 2007), and Fever, a comedy by Alessandro D'Alatri (Italy, 2005).
