Nine big international acts have been officially confirmed on the programme of the 3rd Heineken Balaton Sound in Zamárdi. In addition to the American Moby and Kraftwerk from Germany, the British formation Underworld will also perform on the main stage. The Washington group Thiervery Corporation will return to the festival, and the Norwegian group Röyskopp will play their first gig in Hungary.
The Samsung Mobile Arena, with an increased capacity for 10,000 people, will feature some of the world's top DJs. Confirmed acts include Erick Morillo and the iconic techno DJ Carl Cox. Last year's favourite, David Guetta will return to Balaton Sound, and Richie Hawtin promises to make up for last year's cancelled show,
In addition to the main stage and several smaller venues, performers will play on the T-Mobile Terrace on the lakeshore 24 hours a day.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at a reduced price until June 12 at ticket offices and on the internet. The price of a four-day festival pass is HUF 25,000 and day-tickets cost HUF 9,900 if bought before June 12. After that, four-day passes will cost HUF 29,900 and day-tickets HUF 12,000. The organisers expect the festival to sell out, as in earlier years.
