Krétakör Performs in Korea

English

The troupe performed the piece four times at the 6th Seoul Performing Arts Festival, which has developed a reputation for inviting some of the most exciting talent in contemporary dance and theatre from around the world. This year?s festival was held on October 7?29. Along with English, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Indian and Israeli productions, the festival?s welcoming local audience saw a Hungarian play for the first time.

The Krétakör Theatre performed the play in Hungarian with synchronous interpretation. Schilling?s interpretation of Chekov uses as few tools as possible to explore the human condition in everyday situations.

The troupe will next take ?The Seagull? to Spain and Switzerland.
