Krétakör Starts Season With Foreign Performances

The Krétakör, under the direction of Árpád Schilling, will take its production of FEKETEország (BLACKcountry) to Croatia and Slovenia in September. It will perform the play at the Zagreb World Theatre Festival on September 14-17. Other performances at the festival will include a production of King Lear adapted by Turkmenistan's Anna Mele and put on by Berlin's Schaubühne as well as a production of The Three Sisters directed by Piotr Fomenko from Russia.

 
Krétakör will continue its tour in Slovenia, performing FEKETEország at the EX PONTO Festival on September 18-20. The festival, in Ljubljana, has the subtitle Politics and Theatre and aims to show the current affairs of Central and Eastern Europe. On the programme are performances by Polish, Czech, Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian artists.
