The play, which consists of seven monologues based on short stories from The Waves of Balaton (1994) and The Frozen Dog's Leg (2006), will be performed by Eszter Csákányi, who worked with Parti Nagy in the 90s at the Merlin Theatre on a solo stage adaptation of Parti Nagy's novella Jolán Sárbogárdi: The Angel of the Body and later recorded an audio book of the piece.
"The seven women are, of course, one woman, and of course that one is seven and more. What links them together is partly the language and partly the actress herself," Parti Nagy said of Woman of the Week.
Woman of the Week will be directed by Zsolt Anger.
