Levente Osztovits, Book Publisher, Dies at 66

Osztovits was born in Győr, in northwest Hungary, in 1940. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 1965 and worked as a translator, literary historian and university lecturer. He also worked as a dramaturge in several theatres, including the József Katona Theatre in Kecskemet between 1967 and 1973, the Petőfi Theatre in Veszprém between 1973 and 1977 and the Csokonai Theatre in Debrecen between 1981 and 1984.

Osztovits also lectured on the history of theatre at the Theatre and Film Academy from 1972 and was head of the theatre theory department there from 1990.
