Jazz legend Herbie Hancock and the world famous Chinese classical pianist Lang Lang will team up to bring festival-goers a mix of jazz and classical music, including an arrangement of one of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies.
Other performers on the festival programme include Black Eyed Peas, Lily Allen, Wyclef Jean, Kool and the Gang, Marianne Faithfull, Steely Dan, Grace Jones and Prince.
This year's festival, which features more than 90 concerts, is expected to draw 220,000 visitors.
