Lisztomania Concerts Draw Big Crowds

English

The ?Lisztomania? series drew more interest than earlier expected, said culture councillor for the Austrian state of Burgenland Helmut Bieler.

Liszt was born in Raiding ? Doborján, in Hungarian ? when it was part of the Kingdom of Hungary.

Lisztomania reached a high point with a concert by Russia?s Arcadi Volodos on September 22, Liszt?s birthday, and the last instalment of the series, dubbed ?Festklänge? is set to take place on October 19-26.
